December STRIDE
STRIDE is Next Step Prosthetics Amputee Support Group. The group consists of patients and family members who can help you find your stride as an amputee.
During our meetings you can chat with other Next Step Patients, make friends, explore activities and get insider tips for you and the family.
December with the NSP Support support group was amazing. We decided to take the group outside (thanks to one of our members suggestions) and had lunch at Salsa Brava, which was both delicious and extremely accessible! Everybody had an amazing time with their families and friends, and we were so grateful to be together. We hope to do that again soon.
Next up was the light parade where we lit up the night "Elf" style! There were lights on legs, wheelchairs, and of course Mike's truck. We passed out 1500 Santa hats! Dapper Dre 🎩 was a huge hit on his bicycle and got several shout outs.
Enjoying the day with High Country Adaptive Sports
Then we got the amazing opportunity with High Country Adaptive Sports to take to the mountain and have a ski/snowboard lesson with them, and it was amazing! I highly recommend taking them up on it during their once a month lesson times. Lindsey, Jen and myself all had a blast learning and relearning how to maneuver down the mountain. Lindsey rode the bike, and Jen and I were in ski buckets. We can't wait to go again next month!

With love and gratitude, Jenn & Lindsey
